Souhegan Harmony is a mixed instrument ensemble lead by cellist Andrew Koutroubas and other visiting teaching artists.
Meeting once per week, fifteen times per semester, students enrolled in Souhegan Harmony will explore a variety of musical repertory from antiquity to the modern era and gain experience playing music with others, and will their musicianship skills including music literacy, music theory, music history, sight reading, listening skills, technical abilities on their instrument.
The ensemble presents one public concert performance each semester in the Winter and Spring. Souhegan Harmony is a program of Silentwoods Collective.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to all meetings to ensure we can begin on time. Please notify the instructor if something comes up and you are unable to attend a meeting. Your prior notice of at least 24 hours is most appreciated.
Hard copies of music, scales, and other learning material will be provided by Instructor Andrew Koutroubas. Digital copies of all learning material will be made available electronically via google drive.
It is expected that students will commit to practicing every day, or as close to everyday as possible, for at least 30 minutes. Not only is this critical to the progression and success of the class objectives, it is how your child will get the most out of this weekly class commitment. Gentle practice reminders are encouraged while coercion and force is not.
